We are offering a role for a Help Desk Analyst I located in URBANDALE, Iowa. This position is part of the telecom industry and provides IT support within a Microsoft-centric infrastructure. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be responsible for managing user desktop issues, peripheral devices, and applications to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities:• Demonstrate strong work ethic and drive, showing reliability and dedication to delivering quality service• Utilize Microsoft stack proficiency to manage desktops in Windows operating systems, including familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365• Troubleshoot user desktop issues, peripheral devices (e.g., cameras, headsets, printers), and applications efficiently• Manage tickets in the system as part of daily duties• Allocate a portion of time towards password resets• Dedicate time to resolving soft phone or microphone issues• Allocate time to troubleshooting issues in the virtual desktop environment (end-user perspective)• Spend a portion of time troubleshooting end-user application issues, both internal and web-based• Provide hands-on support in the office, accounting for a portion of the normal day• Utilize experience with soft phones for efficient communication• Familiarize self with ticketing systems like Sharewell (current) or Avante (upcoming transition)• Use skills in Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, Active Directory, MS Office 365, Avante to perform tasks effectively.
